Duties:

 

·       Performs chemical applications on golf course properties and fertilizes tees, greens, and fairways;

·       Applies chemicals on greens.

·       Is responsible for reading, understanding, and keeping current with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS). 

·       Is responsible for compiling preliminary reports of pesticide usage for the Golf Course Superintendent

 

Salary:

$25.50 - $27.00 Depending On Experience

Requirements:

 

·       Minimum 1-year previous spray technician or pesticide application on golf courses. 

·       Valid driver’s license. 

·       Must obtain a Pesticide Applicators License within 90 Days of hire.

·       Working knowledge of application equipment and calibration techniques

·       Knowledge of chemicals

·       Knowledge of insects; turf diseases; grasses and weeds.
