Irrigation Specialist

$17.00 per hour Depending On Experience

Essential Qualifications:
· Working knowledge of basic electricity and hydraulics related to an irrigation system
· Basic understanding of turf grass science and irrigation requirements for high quality turf
· Understanding of the game of golf and preparation techniques for play
· Ability to operate light and medium duty equipment
· Record keeping and basic computer skills
· 3 years of golf course maintenance and irrigation experience
· Valid driver’s license
Responsibilities:
· Assist in the programming, operation, and maintenance of OSMAC central computer system and satellites
· Evaluate the proper operation of pump stations and communicate required work and preventative maintenance
· Daily evaluation of irrigation systems, including record keeping
· Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems, including heads, pipe, valves, wires, etc.
· Operate specialized equipment, such as trencher, skid steer, and back hoe
· Participate in property snow removal program
