Cactus and Pine GCSA Employment Referral Service     Date: June 5, 2020 Position: Irrigation Technician Facility: Apache Creek Golf Club Duties: Position Purpose:  To provide the supervision and technical support needed to keep the golf course irrigation system operating efficiently.   General Description of Duties and Responsibilities:   •          Supervise employees as assigned by the Golf Course Superintendent or Assistant Golf Course Superintendent. •          Inspect the pump station daily, including filter systems, ferti-gation systems or other injection systems. •          Perform bi-monthly preventative maintenance checks of the satellite controllers. •          Repair and maintenance of all irrigation system components. •          Inspect entire golf course daily, listing any wet spots or dry spots •          Take water meter readings daily.  •
