| Duties: | Position Purpose: To provide the supervision and technical support needed to keep the golf course irrigation system operating efficiently. General Description of Duties and Responsibilities: • Supervise employees as assigned by the Golf Course Superintendent or Assistant Golf Course Superintendent. • Inspect the pump station daily, including filter systems, ferti-gation systems or other injection systems. • Perform bi-monthly preventative maintenance checks of the satellite controllers. • Repair and maintenance of all irrigation system components. • Inspect entire golf course daily, listing any wet spots or dry spots • Take water meter readings daily. • Keep inventory records up to date. • Keep the parts room clean and neat, and order irrigation parts as needed • Project a professional image at all times. |

| Requirements: | Physical Requirements: • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. to waist height. • Frequent bending turning, kneeling and stooping • Exposure to hot and cold temperatures • Must be able to stand for extended periods. • Must be able to operate gas powered golf equipment and maintenance equipment in a safe manner • Normal vision and hearing ranges required. • Must be able to fluently speak and write the English language. |
