Cactus and Pine GCSA Employment Referral Service     Date: November 23 rd , 2021 Position: Irrigation Technician II  Facility: Desert Mountain Club Duties: ·          Assist Manager or Irrigation Technician II in maintaining and performing repairs on complex irrigation (automatic) systems. ·          Hand waters golf course as directed by supervisors. ·          Perform technical tasks and manual labor involved in maintaining and repairing golf course irrigation systems. ·          Operate and maintain pumping equipment. ·          Read water flow meters. ·          Repair broken pipe and swing joints. ·          Perform preventive maintenance on Cla-valves, PRV screens (including pressure settings). ·          Change head spacing for more effective water distribution. ·          Raise or lower irrigation heads as required. ·          Monitor and reset angle of spray on part-circle heads so that only turf is irrigated. ·          Maintain drainage systems and equipment.
