CACTUS & PINE, GCSA EMPLOYMENT REFERRAL SERVICE Date: March 28 th , 2019 Position: Irrigation Specialist or Technician Course Name: Sunridge Canyon Golf Club Duties: The Irrigation Specialist, under the supervision of the Golf Course Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent, is responsible for the programming, operation and maintenance of the golf course irrigation system. The Irrigation Specialist is required to report any irregularities in course turf quality to the superintendent or assistant superintendent. He/She will manage the irrigation performance and implement corrective action for over-watering or lack of watering. ------- Repair pipe breaks (PVC and Poly), irrigation heads and valves ------- Operates sprinklers manually, by clocks, by computer, and by phone ------- Identify and repair electrical problems in irrigation system ------- Conduct continual visual inspections ------- Troubleshoot sprinklers.
