Duties:	The Parks Worker III-Irrigation position is responsible for installing and maintaining irrigation systems at City parks, facilities, medians and right of ways. This is accomplished by performing maintenance tasks in inspecting, auditing, diagnosing, and repairing irrigation systems and backflow assemblies. Provides assistance in overseeing park maintenance crews and volunteer groups.
Salary:	$44,264.27-$54,987.39 Depending On Experience

Requirements:	Position requires a minimum of three years experience of irrigation practices related to repair, preventative maintenance, system operations and watering cycles and water conservation practices. Work requires knowledge of a specific vocational, administrative, or technical nature that may be obtained with six-months to one year of advanced study or training past the high school equivalency. Successful candidates will also possess a valid Driver’s License, Arizona Structural Pesticide License in Right of Ways or Turf & Ornamentals and must posses one or more of the following certifications (or equivalent): Turf Grass Professional Certified Nursery Worker Certified Master Gardner Arizona Certified Landscape Professional Certified Backflow Inspector National Playground Inspector Certified Arborist by the I.S.A. Irrigation Auditor
