Duties:

This position is responsible for the day to day operation of the golf course to include turf management, staff management, equipment management, chemical and fertilization practices, revenue enhancements and cost controls.

Requirements:

Must have thorough knowledge in turf management to include the principles and practices of course management and be very knowledgeable of federal, state and local laws.  This individual must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel and be able to produce verifiable budgets and have an understanding of the financial statements.

 

This individual must have a minimum of 3 years experience as a Head Superintendent experience with at least a two year degree in Agronomy or Horticulture.  In addition this person must have strong experience in irrigation systems and the ability to trouble shoot problem and develop solutions not create problems.  The applicant must also be a licensed chemical applicator in Arizona.
