Duties:

 

All times operations, daily monitoring, supervision and scheduling of staff.  Irrigation programming, repair and monitoring; daily field observations of golf course, turf, plant material, tree nursery, landscape slopes.  Daily communication with golf shop staff.   Occasional operation of equipment, plant protectant applications, planning, implementation of various programs, purchasing of materials and assist with budgeting.  Contractor supervision and quality control, communication with contractors, architect and owner.      

Salary:

Dependent upon experience

Requirements:

2 or 4 year certificate or degree in Agronomy, Turfgrass Management or related field of study.  Ability to speak Spanish, over seeding, construction, grow-in and Bentgrass experience are all a plus.   Candidate must have a strong work ethic with a commitment to the golf industry.  Desire to advance their career through dedication to the responsibilities of the position, the property and their employer.
