CACTUS & PINE, GCSA EMPLOYMENT REFERRAL SERVICE     SaddleBrooke One Job Posting Date:                         December 18, 2014 Course:                     SaddleBrooke One Golf Course Position:                   1st Assistant Superintendent Duties:                      Assist Golf Course Superintendent and 2nd Assistant Superintendent in all aspects of golf maintenance operations; including staff scheduling, supervision, safety, and discipline.  Contribute to the planning and execution of department goals, procedures, and projects.  Assist with all aspects of the irrigation system; including budgeting and purchasing. Salary:                       $40,000 - $45,000 Annually/Depending on Experience Benefits:                  Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short and Long Term Disability, 401k with employer match, paid vacation time, Uniforms, Employee meal plan, golfing privileges Requirements:       Minimum of five (5) years' experience on a golf course; Two (2) or Four (4) year degree in Horticulture or Turf Management preferred; Posses or the ability to obtain AZ pesticide applicators license within six (6) months of hire; Ability to prioritize and adjust to a rapidly changing environment; Strong leadership and communication skills; Ability to lift Fifty (50) lbs.
