  Position:                   1st Assistant Superintendent
  Duties:                      Assist Golf Course Superintendent and 2nd Assistant Superintendent in all aspects of golf maintenance operations; including staff scheduling, supervision, safety, and discipline.  Contribute to the planning and execution of department goals, procedures, and projects.  Assist with all aspects of the irrigation system; including budgeting and purchasing.
  Salary:                       $40,000 - $45,000 Annually/Depending on Experience

  Requirements:       Minimum of five (5) years' experience on a golf course; Two (2) or Four (4) year degree in Horticulture or Turf Management preferred; Posses or the ability to obtain AZ pesticide applicators license within six (6) months of hire; Ability to prioritize and adjust to a rapidly changing environment; Strong leadership and communication skills; Ability to lift Fifty (50) lbs.

  Comments:              SaddleBrooke One is an active adult community in the mountains just north of Tucson with 27 holes and a recently renovated practice facility.  The courses have been recently re-grassed and support over 70,000 rounds of golf annually.  In 2015 the SaddleBrooke One courses are scheduled to begin a 2 year irrigation renovation.  The right candidate will have the opportunity to join a positive, results oriented work environment in a community that is committed to improving and maintaining its golf operation to a high standard.
