Golf Equipment Maintenance Mechanic

Full Time Position

 

 

SALARY RANGE:  $13.38 - $19.13 Per Hour Depending On Experience

 

JOB LOCATION: Recreation Centers of Sun City, Inc.: North Maintenance

 

JOB SUMMARY: Performs work of considerable difficulty in repairing, maintaining, and rebuilding automotive, grounds, and golf course equipment.

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: 

·       Four years of experience as a journeyman mechanic.

·       Ability to furnish a basic set of mechanic tools.

·       Possess and maintain a valid State of Arizona Driver’s License.

·       Knowledge in reel grinding and reel maintenance.

·       Considerable knowledge of the methods, practices, materials, and tools used in automotive and mechanical repair.

·       Good knowledge of the operating principles of internal combustion engines.

·       Knowledge of welding.

·       Skill in locating and adjusting operating problems in motorized equipment.

·       Skill in the use and care of tools and equipment used in the trade.

·       Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.

·       Ability to perform heavy manual labor in rather inaccessible areas.

·         Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
