Duties:

·         Under the direction of the Golf Course Superintendent, directs and participates in the maintenances of the golf course tees, greens and fairways.

·         Supervises the crews completing the maintenance and project work for the course. Assists with manual labor associated with maintenance and project work as necessary.

·         Instructs equipment operators on the operation and care of mowing and other equipment.

·         Calibrate fertilizer/pesticide application equipment; supervises and participates in the operation and maintenance of pumps, and in the maintenance of irrigation and drainage systems.

Requirements:

  • Two-year (2) Turf Grass Management degree/ certificate or strong desires to advance up the management ladder.
  • Minimum of Five (5) years of Golf Course maintenance experience with progressive responsibilities.
  • Must have AZ pesticide applicators license or have the ability to attain one within the first 3 months of employment.
  • Must have experience in the process of overseeding.
  • Must have exceptional attention to detail.
  • Must have good communication skills.
  • Must be an exceptional leadership skills.
