Requirements: | “Whatever it takes” attitude, desire to learn, attention to detail, Degree/Certificate in Agronomy or turf-related field, Basic understanding of golf course maintenance practices, basic understanding of the game of golf, ability to obtain applicators license, valid driver’s license, volunteer to assist Cactus & Pine, GCSA in some capacity. |

Comments: | Phoenix Country Club will be hosting Senior PGA Tour “Charles Schwab Cup” in 2017, 2018 and possibly 2019. My thoughts are this position might be the perfect fit for a person real close to taking the next step…from assistant to Head Golf Course Superintendent. Maybe the experience and notoriety of the event pushes this person over the hump to his next job. Regardless, Phoenix Country Club is a great facility with a great supportive membership and staff, for those with a desire to work. |
