Duties: | The 2nd Assistant Golf position is a hands-on leadership role. We are seeking a career minded, highly motivated individual to join our team to assist in supervision of day to day golf course operations, work on the crew team as a team leader, and work on special projects as assigned. This is a great position for first time leaders to develop their skill sets under the direction of a seasoned turf maintenance crew. The 2nd Assistant Golf Course Superintendent will work on a crew team assisting the leadership team in planning, scheduling, and supervising the construction and maintenance of all areas of the golf course and support facilities. This position is a working supervisor position and will perform routine maintenance tasks regularly, for example: mowing, raking, blowing and troubleshooting irrigation troubles to name a few. |
Salary: | $15.00 Per Hour |

Requirements: | · BS in Turf grass Science, in progress or completed · Working knowledge of the construction, establishment and maintenance practices employed on golf course · Knowledge of planting and culture of turf grasses and planting · Cultivating and pruning ornamental plants, shrubs and trees · Knowledge of proper use of fertilizers, soil conditioners and pest control materials · Knowledge of drainage methods, watering practices and irrigation systems, knowledge of equipment operation, servicing and repair, ability to schedule and supervise work, participating knowledge of the game of golf · Must practice safety at all times |
