Duties: | · Coordinates and schedules work assignments with each GCM department head · Prepares budgets, following guidelines related to efficient operating procedures of the GCM department · Assists with personnel administration duties such as hiring, disciplining, counseling and conducting employee performance reviews · Prepares and implements safety rules and regulations · Maintains labor tracking, fertilizer and pesticide use reports as well as an inventory of all departments · Oversees fertilizer and pesticide applications to the golf course · Ensures the GCM department is in compliance with all local, state and federal regulations · Performs other duties as assigned Critical Personal Success Factors · A team builder who has a history of attracting, developing and retaining a high performance staff who, in turn, are able to be both responsible and accountable to deliver service standards that exceed all member and guest expectations. · A proven “thought partner” to Golf Operations. Having the ability to provide thoughtful, reasoned dialogue with the Superintendent, as opposed to being simply a ‘good order taker’, is most appropriate and a key factor to long-term success at The Country Club at DC Ranch. · An intuitive style resulting in a sincere and clearly engaged presence with Members, Guests and Staff. Having the stamina, sensitivity and overall multi-tasking ability to manage and lead in this type of environment is critical. · Fundamental understanding of what constitutes a ‘Premier Club Experience’. General Qualifications & Experience · Knowledgeable in “best practices” in top performing and high member satisfaction clubs, hotels or resorts around the country. · Exceptionally strong communication and facilitation skills, both written and verbal, with the appropriate personal presence and style, desire and ability to interact effectively before diverse constituencies of members, staff, vendors and other people who are part of the success of The Country Club at DC Ranch. · Personally capable and comfortable with technology and incorporates its use, as appropriate in his/her everyday role, while never losing sight of the need for ‘high touch’ relations with Members/Owners and Staff Members. |
Salary: | $55,000 to $70,000 Depending On Experience |

Requirements: | · Minimum of (5) five years’ of golf course related experience, with at least Three (3) years in a supervisory position · High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Turfgrass Management or related field preferred · Current Applicator License from the Arizona Structural Pest Control Commission required; valid driver’s license required; High school diploma or equivalent required |
