Assistant Golf Course Superintendent

Course Name:

San Marcos Golf Course

Duties:

This is a working position with responsibilities to include:

 

·        Oversight and training of maintenance staff

·        Daily maintenance assignments for crew

·        Calibration and application of fertilizers and chemicals

·        Assist with hiring and performance evaluations of maintenance staff 

·        Assist with daily setup of course for play and any other duties necessary

Requirements:

·        Two (2) Four (4) years maintenance experience, some supervisory experience a plus

·        Dept of Ag Golf Certified Applicator license or acquire within 90 days

·        Computer and organizational skills

·        Attention to detail and ability to maintain course to highest standards possible

·        Some mechanical ability is a plus
