Duties:

·        Assist in the responsibility for all phases of golf course maintenance and Agronomic operations, cost control and personnel

·        Coordinate, schedule and administer daily tasks to maintenance staff

·        Train staff on all golf course tasks, procedures and standards, hold staff accountable

·        Assist with applicant interviews and Human Resource issues

Salary:

$40,000 - $50,000  Depending On Experience

Requirements:

·        Minimum two year Turf/Agronomy degree or related field

·        One (1) – Two (2) year’s-experience at the Assistant Superintendent level preferred

·        Ability to obtain a pesticide applicator’s license within 90 days of hire

·        Chemical and fertilizer calibration, application, use knowledge and record keeping

·        Dedicated, reliable and strong work ethic

·        Desire to become a Golf Course Superintendent

·        Neat, organized and clean
