Duties: | · Responsible for all golf course operations and maintenance · Self-motivated leader with a Passion for exceeding industry standards · Purchase, record, apply & supervise all fertilizer, chemical and seed applications · Manage & perform golf course construction and repair projects · Manage fall over-seeding with proper preparation practices and time sensitive completion · Operate and manage deep well functions and irrigation pump station · Manage, record and report data to AZ Dept. of Water Resources · Hire, train, supervise and assist the maintenance crew, Irrigation specialist and mechanic · Implement and maintain OSHA standards and records · Develop annual capital equipment recommendations, obtain equipment thru purchasing best practices · Develop and maintain crew schedules, maintenance procedures and policies · Participate in annual budget development and review daily operations expense vs budget and prior year actuals · Collaborate with fellow managers, members and customers |
Salary: | $50,000 + Depending On Experience |

Requirements: | · Class A Superintendent preferred · Minimum Two (2) – Three (3) years of experience as a Golf Superintendent or 1st Assistant · Over-seed experience preferred · AZ Department of Agriculture-PUG (Golf applicator Certification with minimum certifications in Ornamental & Turf) · Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record · Ability to lift 50lbs or more and operate all equipment · Must be a team Player |
