Assistant Golf Course Mechanic

Course Name:

Scottsdale National Golf Club

Duties:

·        The assistant mechanic position requires previous golf course experience as a mechanic in a related field.    

·        Must have knowledge of reel grinding and adjustments. 

·        The assistant mechanic must be capable of operating and performing routine maintenance on all golf course equipment.

Salary:

$19.00 Per Hour

Requirements:

·        A basic understanding of golf maintenance operations

·        Must have experience in grinding, setting and adjusting mowers reels and blades.

·        Experienced with hydraulics, diesel, gas, 2-cycle equipment, and setting and grinding reels.

·        Ability to maintain a safe and organized work area.

·        Perform Golf Course Maintenance at direction of the head agronomist and the superintendent.

·        Ability to work the weekends/overtime when necessary.
