Duties: | · The equipment mechanic position requires previous golf course experience as a mechanic in a related field. · An advanced understanding of golf maintenance operations, and hands on experience in equipment repair is required. · Must have knowledge of reel grinding and adjustment. · The equipment technician must be capable of operating and performing routine maintenance on all golf course equipment. · The technician must be able to develop service schedules on all equipment. · The ability to prioritize work and complete tasks in order of importance is essential. |
Salary: | $18.00 to $25.00 per hour ~ Depending on Experience |

Requirements: | · A basic understanding of golf maintenance operations and cultural practices. · Prior experience in equipment diagnostic troubleshooting and repair, with golf course equipment. · Must have experience in grinding, setting and adjusting mower reels and blades. · Experience with hydraulics, diesel, gas, 2-cycle equipment. · Experience with electrical, welding and fabrication Experience setting/grinding reels a must. Ordering supplies, parts, etc. · Ability to create service schedules and routine maintenance programs. · Maintain a safe and organized work area. · Perform Golf Course Maintenance at direction of the superintendent. · Ability to work weekdays, weekends and overtime when necessary |
