Duties:

Palm Valley Golf Club is seeking a highly motivated individual with the ability to work alongside our crew performing daily course maintenance.

·        Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

·        Chemical and fertilizer applications

·        Irrigation repair

·        Overseeing daily maintenance practices.

·        The second assistant will assist in preparation and execution of daily golf maintenance duties.

Salary:

$35,800.00

Requirements:

·        Two or four year degree in turf management or related field preferred.

·        Candidates should possess a history of steady advancement within golf maintenance operations. 

·        Key traits for this position include being self- motivated, self-driven, strong work ethic, keen eye for detail and the desire to exceed expectations. The ability to communicate effectively and keep business records is a must.

·        Knowledge of and/or ability to play the game of golf and understand how job performance affects the playing conditions of the golf course.

·        Possession of a valid driver's license with clean driving record.
