Golf Course Mechanic

Duties:

·        Repairs and maintains all golf course maintenance equipment and tools.

·        Purchases parts and supplies as needed. Reviews budgets with GCS for approval. Tracks purchases and all inventory levels.

·        Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues in a timely manner.

·        Sharpen, grind, and adjust cutting units to perform on a consistent basis.

·        Performs motor rebuilding and general motor repair.

·        Maintains a clean and safe work shop environment.

Requirements:

·        Minimum of 2 years as a Head Mechanic or 3 years as an Assistant Mechanic at a top level club.

·        Must be able to lift 40 lbs.

·        Communicates well with staff and other department managers.

·        Able to grasp and adjust to new equipment technology.
