Duties: Responsible for the golf course facilities management ensuring optimal course conditions, including but not limited to:
● Employee recruitment and management.
● Turf and plant management.
○ Overseeding includes 2 Acres Greens, 2 Acres Tees, 9 Acres Fairways, 9 Acres Green Surrounds.
○ Approximately 60 Acres non-seeded rough.
○ Approximately ½ Acre landscaped areas.
● Irrigation management. Hunter central/field control (wired). Hunter/Rainbird heads. Pump station is two 75hp pumps with individual VFD controllers. Wet well and intake line are scheduled to be rebuilt during the winter.
● Equipment management.
● Project/cultural control/cart path management
● Pond/aquatics management. 4 ponds on property.
● Material/Fertilizer/Chemical management.
● NO SAND TRAPS TO DEAL WITH!!
Salary: Depends on experience
Benefits: Paid time off, added funds for personal health insurance options.
Requirements: Must have 3.5 years-experience as superintendent or assistant superintendent. Must have or be able to obtain a chemical applicator license within 6 months.
