Assistant Golf Course Superintendent

Facility:

Duties:

·        Effectively lead and schedule staff to help ensure a quality product

·        Assist in daily setup and assure standards are met

·        Proactively identify and correct agronomic problems

·        Properly train staff and communicate with staff job needs

·        Implement fertilizer and pesticide programs

·        Communicate daily with Superintendent

 

Salary:

$50,000-Depending On Experience

Requirements:

·        Two-year turf grass degree and supervisory experience

·        Ability to obtain and maintain pesticide license within 90 of employment

·        Able to lift 70 #s

·        Understanding of the game of golf

·        Working knowledge of turf grass equipment and irrigation systems

·        Experience supervising others and leading a team

Chaparral Pines and The Rim Club operate out of the same facility and have the same owners.  Teamwork between clubs is essential to the success of both clubs.  This position will primarily work only at Chaparral Pines.  Payson is a small mountain town with limited everything.  We look forward to finding the ideal candidate that will continue to lead in the success at Chaparral Pines.
