Comments: | Division Manager – Agronomic SolutionsFLSA Status: Exempt Department: Construction & Agronomy Reports to: Senior VP General Purpose: Oversees the “outsourced” agronomic solutions division of Casa Verde Golf. Casa Verde Golf is a construction/renovation contractor in the golf course industry, that recently started this “agronomic solutions” division to perform cultural practices on established golf courses. Essential Duties: ¨ Prepares, organizes, and executes all agronomic solutions work across the South Western United States. ¨ Plans, organizes and directs the maintenance on all pieces of equipment in this division. ¨ Procures supplies and materials within budgetary limitations. ¨ Keep records of annual maintenance activities and costs. Prepares reports. ¨ Implements sound purchasing procedures utilizing preferred vendors, when possible. ¨ Reconciles and provides timely coding of all invoices, payroll and other required documents. ¨ Ensures all company policies and procedures are followed including compliance with government regulations. ¨ Regular and reliable attendance. ¨ Incorporates safe work practices in job performance. Education/Experience: Formal, post-secondary, education is preferred. A two-year college or technical school; or three to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience would be ideal. Environment/Noise: Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts, fumes and/or airborne particles. Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions. Noise level is moderate. Certificates/Licenses: Valid Driver’s License, CDL license would be preferred, but not mandatory. Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences: ¨ This position requires the Division Manager to regularly interact with golf course superintendents and their staff. Basic understanding of golf course maintenance is required. ¨ This position requires some basic sales understanding. ¨ Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is required.
