Duties:

-Assist in the responsibility for all phases of golf course maintenance and Agronomic operations, cost control and personnel

-Coordinate, schedule and administer daily tasks to maintenance staff

-Train staff on all golf course tasks, procedures and standards, hold staff accountable

-Assist with applicant interviews and Human Resource issues and other administrative duties

-Fertilizer and chemical applications, record keeping and supervision of applications

-Irrigation management and scheduling

-Assist with purchasing of maintenance supplies

Salary:

$55,000 + Depending On Experience

Requirements:

 

·        Minimum two year Turf/Agronomy degree or related field

·        2+ years- experience at the Assistant Superintendent level preferred

·        Valid pesticide applicator’s license or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire

·        Chemical and fertilizer calibration, application, use knowledge and record keeping

·        Dedicated, reliable and strong work ethic

·        Neat, organized and clean
