Duties: · Self-motivated and career oriented. · Well organized individual with an emphasis on attention to detail. · Strong communication and interpersonal skills. · Ability to maintain a clean and professional appearance. · Punctuality and ability to be flexible with work shifts. · Ability to perform in a fluid and dynamic work environment. · Ability to prioritize with competing tasks. · Pesticide chemical/fertilizer calibration and application. · Water management of greens, tees, fairways, and roughs. · Assist in planning and supervising maintenance of greens, tees, fairways, and roughs. · Emphasis on being a great operator to aid in employee training. | | ||
Salary: $50,000 – $60,000 ~ Annually, Depending on Experience | | ||

Requirements: · Qualified personnel will have a two or four-year degree in a Turfgrass Management or related field. Recent graduates encouraged to apply. · Minimum five years golf maintenance experience. · Experience with chemical/fertilizer applications, irrigation repair, and crew management is a plus. Willing to train the right individual. · Ability to obtain Arizona pesticide license. | | ||

Comments: This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to gain experience at a high-end golf facility and join a staff that has several years of experience in the industry. The position as an Assistant golf course superintendent will be helping with all daily operations, crew scheduling, participate in spray/fertility applications, as well helping lead a crew of 25+ employees. You will work in constant communication with the Director of Agronomy as well as Golf Course Superintendent. | | ||
