| Duties: | · The Assistant Golf Course Superintendent directs and participates in the maintenance of all golf course features, equipment, and facilities. · Assist in establishing priorities for services and operations · Plans for and responds to weather and Association events · Responds to emergency situations. |
| Salary: | $52,000 to $63,000 Depending on Experience **PLUS SIGN ON BONUS OF $2,000.00 |

| Requirements: | · High school diploma or equivalent and five (5) years of verified experience. · Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of related experience is preferred. · 1 to 3 years turf grass management experience required. · Basic computer skills including Word and Excel. · Knowledge of agronomy and turfgrass management practices · TORO NSN computer knowledge · Through understanding to the rules and strategies of the game of golf. · A high degree of administrative and executive ability, especially in terms of problem solving and decision making. · Excellent oral and written communication skills. · May require current state certification or licensing as a pesticide applicator. · Valid driver’s license for the State of Arizona. · GCSAA Certification is preferred but not required. · English-Spanish bilingual is preferred. |

| Comments: | This position frequent exposure to outdoor weather with temperatures reaching well above 100 degrees Fahrenheit and below 40 degrees Fahrenheit. Spend time using your hands to handle, control or feel objects, tools, or controls. Office equipment used in this position includes a desktop computer, laptop computer, fax machine, printer, photocopier, multi-line telephone, filing cabinets, and cell phone. Administrative functions may require up to 20% of time using a computer or other office equipment. Maintenance equipment used in this position include hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and personal protective equipment. Maintenance functions may require up to 40% of time using equipment in the field. |
