Duties:

Duties include, but are not limited to mix, prepare and apply chemical solutions (insecticides, herbicides, fungicides). The candidate will also keep up with pesticide and fertilizer inventory as well as keeping records of pesticide and fertilizer applications. In addition, the spray technicians will perform various other golf course related tasks as assigned by management.

·         Apply fertilizer and chemical applications
 

·         Update spray records, inventory and MSDS sheets
 

·         Calibrate spray equipment and fertilizer spreaders
 

·         General upkeep and maintenance on spray equipment
 

·         Over time be able to start diagnosing pest and fungus issues

 

Salary:

$17.00 ++ Depending On Experience

Requirements:

·         Willing to attend continuing education seminars and classes
 

·         Have no problems wearing spray applicator suites, full face respirators, or chemical resistant apparel
 

·         Able to lift 50 lbs.
 

·         Do simple math
 

·         Willing to learn
 

·         Detail oriented
 

·         Keep area neat and organized
