Position:      Irrigation Technician (9 Holes Only)

 

 

Facility:        Alta Mesa Golf Club

 

 

Duties:

 

·       Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair various field irrigation components including but not limited to: Sprinkler heads, quick couplers, valves, lateral and main line PVC piping, irrigation field controllers.

·       Hand watering will be a major emphasis with this position.

·       Operate Toro LTC Pro field controllers.

·       Maintain, repair, and install drainage systems as needed.

·       Keep an organized parts inventory and communicate effectively when parts inventory is low.

·       Operate medium and heavy-duty utility vehicles.

·       Must be able to access Toro mapping and Lynx Cloud apps via mobile phone.

 

 

Salary: $20.00 Per Hour

Requirements:

 

·       Two (2)+ years of golf course irrigation experience preferred

·       Alta Mesa Golf Club is an 18-hole member owned private golf only club located in northeast Mesa.

·       This position will be responsible for 9 holes ONLY.

·       Alta Mesa Golf Club does NOT overseed greens, surrounds, fairways, or roughs.

·       All greens are MiniVerde ultra-dwarf Bermuda grass, surrounds and fairways are TifTuf hybrid Bermuda grass, rough is (enter your favorite Bermuda grass here).

·       Toro irrigation system utilizing Lynx central control and LTC Pro field controls.

·       Central control operation will NOT be required in this position.
