About YOUR CLUB: Verrado Golf Club is a 36-hole golf facility comprised of the Founder's and Victory courses.
The Founder's Experience: An 18-hole championship golf course, the Founder's Course at Verrado Golf Club features a dramatic mountainside setting with massive rock outcroppings, large desert washes, picturesque box canyons and dramatic elevation changes. The course also offers magnificent views of the nearby White Tank Mountains and the Phoenix skyline. From the tips, the course plays to nearly 7,300 yards and will give even the most accomplished player a thrilling test of golf. However, course architects John Fought and PGA Tour Player, Tom Lehman created the course with generous landing areas and five sets of tee boxes ensuring players of all abilities a legitimate chance at par.
The Victory Experience: An 18-hole championship golf course, the Victory Course at Verrado Golf Club is a perfect complement to the Founders Course as it offers a unique and challenging golfing experience designed by PGA Tour Player Tom Lehman. With stunning views and well-maintained fairways and greens, the Victory course provides an enjoyable and memorable round of golf for players of all skill levels. The course's design takes advantage of the natural rocky terrain, offering a variety of holes that are both strategic and visually appealing. The Victory Course saves the best for last as the 18th hole will leave you wanting to plan your return visit.
In 2005, several of the partners came together to realize a long-desired dream and created Century Golf Partners; a golf investment and management company. This position will be part of a growing company with a portfolio of private, public and resort courses throughout the U.S. We offer cross-facility training, scholarships and opportunities to participate in the American Express (PGA TOUR) at PGA WEST or The Ford Championship (LPGA) at Whirlwind Golf Club.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Associate degree in Turfgrass Management or similar field.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
The Director of Agronomy is responsible for the agronomics to produce playing conditions outlined in the course's business plan. The superintendent will attract and develop talent at all levels of golf course maintenance to create a highly functional team. This individual will also focus on the business of agronomy, technology, continuing education and long term strategic planning.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
· 5+ years turf grass management experience required.
· Advanced knowledge of agronomy and turfgrass management practices with the ability to teach others.
· A strong business aptitude and passion for the golf business.
· Current (or ability to obtain) Arizona certification and licensing as a pesticide applicator with 90 days.
