Duties:

This position provides support to the Golf Course Superintendent and supervises the Assistant Mechanic.

This position is responsible for the preventive maintenance of all Golf Course equipment used in maintaining a 27-hole facility. SaddleBrooke (located just north of Tucson) hosts 70,000 rounds of golf per year and is the final stage of a three year re-grassing project.

Requirements:

Prior experience with the maintenance and repair of all types of golf course equipment.  This would include experience with gas engine repair, diesel engine repair, 2-cycle engine repair, reel sharpening and adjustment, hydraulics systems, electrical systems, preventative maintenance scheduling, and metal fabrication.  The ability to make adjustments in a fast paced environment is necessary.  Prior supervisory experience and computer skills are preferred.
