| Position Purpose | Responsible for carrying out  the directions from the Golf Course    Superintendent for ensuring the overall quality and playability of the golf    course(s), assuring that it is maintained within budgetary guidelines and    promotes the OB Sports philosophy of excellence.  Must be highly motivated to    move into a lead position within 12 months. | 
| General Description of Duties and    Responsibilities: | 
| ·           Responsible for    directly supervising the daily maintenance operations, personally ensuring    that the golf course is presented in the finest condition possible.   ·           Perform the    basic duties of the Golf Course Superintendent in his absence. ·           Responsible for    performing a daily inspection tour of the golf course and Clubhouse grounds.      ·           Responsible for    the supervision of all maintenance personnel, including preparation of weekly    work schedules and communication of daily assignments.  ·           Maintain    up-to-date, accurate records of all fertilizer and pesticide applications;    man-hours worked; etc. ·           Assist in the    daily irrigation scheduling.   ·           Keep abreast of    current innovations in turfgrass management. ·           Project a    professional image at all times.   ·           Perform any    other duty deemed reasonable by their supervisor or management.   | 
| Experience / Education / Certification    Requirements: | 
| ·           High school    education or its equivalent.  ·           Must have state    GCSA status and state pesticide applicator’s license.  ·           Experience    operating golf course maintenance equipment. ·           Must have valid    driver’s license. ·           Must have    experience working on a computer with Microsoft Office products (Outlook;    Excel; Word) | 
| Physical Requirements: | 
| ·           Must be able to    lift up to 40 lbs. to waist height. ·           Frequent bending    turning, kneeling and stooping ·           Exposure to hot    and cold temperatures ·           Must be able to    stand for extended periods. ·           Some repetitive    motion required for computer entry. ·           Must be able to    operate a motorized vehicle, including golf cart, in a safe manner ·           Must be able to    fluently speak and write the English language. |
