| Duties: | Essential    Duties: Maintain Flowtronix pump station;    establishes schedules for/and monitor all course irrigation via computerized    system (Site-Pro 2.2) to ensure proper functioning; install and repair    irrigation systems as needed; perform soil moisture content testing; perform    or assist in scheduled preventative maintenance and emergency repair of    irrigation systems such as water line breaks, leaks and broken sprinkler    heads;  troubleshoot central controller and field controllers and assist    with plumbing projects as needed. | 
| Salary: | $29,036 – $40,643 Depending On Experience/Q |

| Requirements: | Qualifications: Education and/or experience    equivalent to high school diploma and three (3) years full time golf course    irrigation repair and maintenance. Must be able to lift 75 pounds, perform    repetitive lifting, stooping, bending, twisting, walking and driving under    potentially bad weather conditions.   Knowledge of:  Knowledge of basic electricity,    hydraulics, computers and record keeping. Knowledge of irrigation system    installation, repair and maintenance. Knowledge of TORO Network 8000  Knowledge of operation of a    variety of heavy and light equipment and vehicles. Knowledge of hazard and    safety precautions associated with golf course irrigation maintenance Knowledge of OSHA safety    standards and practices Skill in:  Skill in installing, maintaining    and repairing TORO irrigation systems. Skill in utilizing public relations    techniques in responding to inquiries and complaints. Skill in establishing    and maintaining effective working relationships with State, Federal, and    other local officials, elected officials, subordinate staff, and City    residents. Ability to: Ability to work cooperatively    with City employees and the public. Ability to communicate effectively in the    English language with employees or the public by phone, in person or group    settings. Ability to produce written documents with clearly organized    thoughts using proper sentence construction, punctuation and grammar. Ability    to work in a variety of weather conditions with exposure to the elements. Ability    to learn job-related material through oral instruction, observation, reading    or classroom setting. Ability to work safely without presenting a direct    threat to self or others. |
