| Duties: | Assist in the daily maintenance operations of an 18-hole private facility. Manage all recordkeeping, fertilizer/pesticide usage, water usage and human resources. This position will include all duties of a typical assistant and will include some duties of a superintendent. Will work closely with all property staff, other company facilities, vendors, attend staff meetings and member events. |
| Salary: | $ 35,000 to $ 37,000/yr Depending On Experience |
| Benefits: | Medical, Dental, Life, Sick/Vacation, 6 paid holidays per year after required waiting period. Uniforms, 401K, dues paid for GCSAA and Cactus and Pine GCSA, educational seminars & pesticide license. |
| Requirements: | · 3+ years golf course maintenance experience and the strong ability to manage a staff of 15 REQUIRED. · 2-4 year horticulture/turfgrass degree preferred. · Must possess strong leadership skills and ability to effectively give clear directives and manage staff. · Fertilizer/pesticide application experience, strong attention to detail and excellent work ethic. · Microsoft Office- Word and Excel. · Must have AZ pesticide applicators license or ability to obtain in 6 months. Must work some weekends and holidays. GCSAA Member preferred. · Spanish fluency, a plus. |

| Comments: | Corte Bella is a private club in Sun City West with approx. 90 acres turf, 90 acres maintained landscape. It is situated in a gated community of 1600 homes. Tif-Eagle Greens, Tifway 419 overseeded tees, fairways. 419 Rough is dormant during winter months. Rain Bird Cirrus irrigation system and John Deere equipment. Members have high expectations and strong attention to detail is required. |
