       | Duties: | The equipment supervisor is    responsible for ensuring all equipment is maintained in the best possible    condition at all times.   He/she is also responsible for directing    the day-to-day operation of the equipment shop.  Specifically, you would    be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:   •Approach all encounters    with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner•Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Hilton International    standards, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs    of the hotel
 •Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which    include wearing the proper uniform and nametag when working
 •Comply at all times with Hilton International standards and    regulations to encourage safe and efficient golf operations
 •Maintain a warm friendly demeanor at all times
 •Employees must at all times be attentive, friendly, helpful and    courteous to guests, managers and fellow employees
 •Inspect, diagnose, prioritize and repair mechanical defects/failures    of equipment
 •Instruct and/or train preventive maintenance, and the proper cleaning    of and safe operation of equipment.
 •Develop and implement a plan to maintain equipment in a safe and    acceptable state of repair
 •Ensure the equipment shop is in compliance with all local, state and    federal laws
 •Supervise the mechanics and ensure they are properly trained in    standard operating procedures and loss prevention standards
 •Purchase repair parts and replacement supplies.
 •Maintain records for equipment and parts inventory purchases, equipment    conditions, cost of repairs and preventive maintenance for all equipment.
 •Spot check equipment for performance
 •Make emergency repairs to equipment when needed
 •Ensure all equipment has been serviced prior to use.
 •Assist in regulating employees' use of equipment.
 Marginal:• Attend meetings and training as required by management
 • Perform other duties as assigned by management

       | Salary: | $18.00 to $22.00 Depending on experience |

       | Requirements: | • Flexible and long hours    sometimes required• Heavy Work - Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally,    and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently and/or in excess of 20    pounds constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
 • May be required to make equipment repairs in adverse weather    conditions

 • Must be able to show initiative in job performance, including    anticipating what needs to be done before it becomes a necessity.
 • Must be able to work    with and understand financial information and data, and basic arithmetic functions• Understand the game of golf and how course maintenance effects it
 Education and Experience:   • High School diploma or    equivalent required and/or experience in golf course maintenance or a related    field preferred• At least five years of progressive experience with mechanical    repairs, light and heavy maintenance equipment, automotive apparatuses, and    the use of equipment repair tools
 • Working knowledge of theory, care and operation of internal    combustion engines and mowing equipment
 • Previous supervisory responsibility preferred
 • Trade school and/or College course work in related field helpful
 • Must have valid driver's license for the applicable state
