Job Title:  Assistant Golf Course Superintendent

Course:  Arnold Palmer Course ~ La Quinta, CA ~ A Waldorf Astoria Resort®

Job Description:  Applicant is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations to include fertilizer and pesticide applications, scheduling, purchasing, equipment maintenance, clubhouse grounds, irrigation scheduling and repairs, and landscaping.  We are looking for someone that is self motivated and able to provide input and direction to continue to improve the golf course.  The Palmer course is the host for the Humana Challenge event on the PGA Tour in January.

Educational Requirements:  Minimum of 2 year certificate in a turf related field

Experience Requirements:  Must have 5 years working on golf courses with progressive responsibility.  Previous assistant experience preferred.

Salary:  40,000 Annually
