Duties:

Palm Valley Golf Club is seeking a highly motivated individual with the ability to work alongside our crew. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, chemical and fertilizer applications, irrigation repair and overseeing daily maintenance and course set up practices. The 2nd assistant will assist the 1st assistant in preparation and execution of daily golf maintenance duties. This is a hands-on position.

Requirements:

Candidates should possess a history of steady advancement within golf maintenance operations. Some key traits for this position include being self motivated, self driven, strong work ethic, keen eye for detail and the desire to exceed expectations. The ability to communicate effectively is a must. Experience with Toro irrigation and Rain Bird irrigation systems required. Knowledge of and/or ability to play the game of golf and understand how job performance affects the playing conditions of the golf course. Candidates are preferred to be enrolled in or have completed a turf certificate or degree program. At least 2 years of golf course maintenance experience required. Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
