Duties: | We are seeking a hardworking and motivated individual to assist the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent in the daily management of the golf course and landscape grounds. Primary responsibilities will include greens moisture management, irrigation repair and chemical applications. Secondary responsibilities will include leading small group projects, operating a wide range of turf equipment as needed, helping schedule and execute both the short and long-term agronomic plan as well as occasionally leading the staff on a day-to-day basis. This is a working position, and the applicant can expect to fill a number of rolls within the crew. This is a full time, year round position. This is a great opportunity for a candidate to learn new skills and responsibilities while growing overall as a turfgrass manager. The right person will demonstrate initiative, problem solving skills and bring a positive attitude to the position. In return, the Superintendent and Assistant are committed to developing the individual both personally and professionally to enhance their golf course management skills. |
Salary: | $36,000 - $40,000 Depending On Experience |

Requirements: | Applicants must possess an Associate, Bachelor (or certificate) in Turfgrass Management or related field. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Previous golf course experience preferred. Knowledge of hand watering and moisture management on bentgrass putting surfaces, irrigation repair and chemical application preferred but willing to train the right individual. |

Comments: | Pinnacle Peak Country Club is an 18-hole member owned property located in the heart of North Scottsdale. We maintain 007 bentgrass greens which were renovated in the summer of 2016, as well as bermudagrass fairways and rough that are overseeded in the fall. We currently have several upcoming enhancement projects scheduled in the future. |
