Duties: | Job Summary: Performs work of considerable difficulty in repairing, maintaining, and rebuilding automotive, grounds, and golf course equipment. · Performs all procedures involved in maintaining reels. · Troubleshoots and overhauls light trucks, lawn care equipment, small engines, and when necessary, heavy-duty equipment. · Repairs engines, transmissions, clutches, driving axles, suspension systems, brakes, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems. · May order parts and supplies required for assigned tasks. · Performs normal daily cleanup of work area. · Performs all work in accordance with safety standards. · Performs other duties as required. |
Salary: | $15.01 to $21.47 Per Hour |

Requirements: | · Four years of experience as a journeyman mechanic. · Ability to furnish a basic set of mechanic tools. · Possess and maintain a valid State of Arizona Driver’s License. · Knowledge in reel grinding and reel maintenance. · Considerable knowledge of the methods, practices, materials, and tools used in automotive and mechanical repair. · Good knowledge of the operating principles of internal combustion engines. · Knowledge of welding. · Skill in locating and adjusting operating problems in motorized equipment. · Skill in the use and care of tools and equipment used in the trade. · Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions. · Ability to perform heavy manual labor in rather inaccessible areas. · Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others. |
