TPC Scottsdale is currently seeking a full-time Crew Foreman to assist in the afternoon supervision of golf course maintenance operation, operating specialized equipment and performing specific tasks relative to the maintenance of the golf course grounds.
Responsibilities include:
• Oversee the afternoon shift and ensure daily assignments are completed to Club standards.
• Assist with staff training and daily assignment completion.
• Possess a valid Certified Applicator's License that is registered in the same state as the golf course operation.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, practices and safety guidelines.
• Ensures cleanliness of golf course equipment, maintenance facility and grounds.
• Establish and perform preventative maintenance on irrigation equipment including but not limited to pumps, motors, valves, and controllers as needed.
Qualified candidates will have the following:
• Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and hold a valid driver’s license
• Three to five years’ experience in turf management in progressively responsible positions
• Prior supervisory experience preferred
• Working knowledge of golf course operations and practices necessary, including as it pertains to the storage, mixing and applying of pesticides and fertilizers
• Strong attention to detail, passion for excellence and a great attitude
• Must be available to work afternoons
