PebbleCreek Golf Resort is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent who is an experienced, passionate and educated turf grass professional with the thorough understanding of the game of golf, understands and enjoys the challenges of this profession.  The ideal candidate must display an unquestionable level of loyalty, dedication and commitment to the homeowners and golfers of PebbleCreek. 

Course Name:

Tuscany Falls CC @ PebbleCreek Golf Resort

Duties:

* Responsible for assisting golf course operations and maintenance with the Superintendent in overseeing an 18 hole facility and practice facilities.

*Purchase, record, apply and supervise all fertilizer, chemical and seed applications.

* Manage fall overseeding/summer transition with proper preparation practices and time sensitive completion.

* Assist to hire, train & supervise the Maintenance Crew, Irrigators and Mechanics.

* Develop and maintain crew schedules, policies and procedures with the Superintendent.

* Maintain positive and effective employee relations.

* Perform annual reviews, coaching and counseling for employees.

* Conducts safety training meetings with the staff on company required topics and external safety programs.

* Involvement in all aspects of the irrigation systems to include pumps, heads, programming, troubleshooting and repairs.
* Collaborate and communicate with fellow managers, members, customers, homeowners, and sales representatives.

* Manage an operating expense budget. 

* Coordinate maintenance schedules in conjunction with helping golf generate budgeted annual golf revenue.

Requirements:

* At least Two (2) years of experience as an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

* Two (2) or Four (4) Year College Degree preferred.

* Certified fertilizer, chemical and pesticide applicator in the state of Arizona or ability to obtain one within 90 days of employment.

* Knowledge of regulatory requirements and record keeping as required by local, state and federal laws
