Sun Lakes HOA #2 Palo Verde Country Club

Duties:

Responsible for the operation and maintenance of the

18-hole/Par 62 executive golf course.  The Superintendent works closely with the Director of Golf Maintenance. Responsibilities include:

·        Turf grass/plant material maintenance programs,

·        Personnel management

·        Budgeting

·        Scheduling

·        Irrigation system scheduling

·        Pesticide application

·        Hiring and training and staff safety practices.

Salary:

$50,000 ~ $55,000 Depending On Experience

Benefits:

·        Health insurance,

·        401k,

·        PTO and vacation pay.

·        Paid Annual dues: Cactus & Pine and GCSAA.

·        Uniform allowance. Golf privileges.

Requirements:

·        Two (2) years-experience as a Golf Course Superintendent or First Assistant.

·        Two Year degree or Certificate in Turf Management or related field.

·        Pesticide Application License.

·        Valid Driver's License. 

·        Bilingual preferred.
