TPC Scottsdale is currently seeking a full-time Equipment Technician. 

This position is responsible for assisting with the maintenance of golf course equipment.

 

Responsibilities include:

·         Performs a variety of mechanical repairs, service and maintenance work

·         Troubleshoots, overhauls and repairs engines, brakes, transmissions, differentials, electrical systems, 

    carburetors, and starters

·         Inspects equipment for operating deficiencies and makes routine adjustments where necessary

·         Repairs, services and adjusts engine and cutting units of mowing equipment

·         Follows planned maintenance procedures, record keeping, inventory and ensures proper shop safety

·         Hydraulic and electrical problem resolution, reel and bed-knife grinding, gas and diesel trouble

           shooting

 

Qualified candidates will have the following:

·         High school degree, GED or Equipment Repair Training Certificate encouraged

·         Previous golf course experience preferred

·         Computer knowledge for record keeping and PM program

·         Must be motivated, organized, and able to keep detailed equipment records

·         A desire to advance within the turfgrass industry
