Assistant Golf Course Superintendent

Facility:

San Marcos Golf Course

Duties:

This is a working position with responsibilities to include:

·        Oversight and training of maintenance staff

·        Daily assignments for crew

·        Calibration and application of fertilizers and chemicals

·        Assist with hiring and evaluation of staff

·        Assist with daily setup of course for play

·        Any other duties as necessary

 

Salary:

$38,000 – $42,000 Based on Experience

Requirements:

·  Two (2) – Four (4) years golf course maintenance experience, supervisory experience a plus.

·        Department of Agriculture Certified Applicator license

·       Toro irrigation Computer and organizational skills

·        Attention to detail, self-starter

·        Some mechanical ability is a plus

*    Willing to learn and be on time
