Duties: | The qualified candidate should be highly motivated and have a strong work ethic. - Maintains, repairs, and rebuilds components of a golf course irrigation system. - Monitors system pressure - Records pump readings - Monitors effectiveness of individual sprinklers - Troubleshoots and overhauls irrigation system components - Determines and maintains adequate irrigation parts supply - Inspects golf course daily and notifies superintendent of issues/concerns - Performs a range of activities related to golf course maintenance and construction - Operates mechanical and power equipment to maintain the golf courses, landscaping and irrigation systems - Performs daily clean-up of work area - Performs other duties as required |
Salary: | $18.00 per hour + Depending On Experience |

Requirements: | - Possess and maintain a valid State of Arizona driver’s license - Working knowledge of the methods, practices, materials, and tools used in irrigation repairs - Knowledge of efficient water management - Working knowledge of basic electricity and hydraulics relating to irrigation systems - Ability to perform moderate to heavy manual labor in a variety of weather and working conditions Physical Demands: - Frequently stands and walks; uses hands; reaches with hands and arms; stoops; kneels; crouches or crawls - Occasionally sits, climbs or balances - Regularly lifts up to 10 pounds and occasionally may lift up to 100 pounds Environment: - Occasionally works in wet or hot conditions; in extreme cold or heat - Regularly works in outdoor weather conditions Experience: · Prior experience preferred |
