Duties: | Peoria’s Parks, Recreation & Community Facilities Department is seeking a Community Facilities Superintendent to supervise and support the field staff, facility maintenance operations and project management of multiple facilities within the department, including the Major League Baseball spring training complex for the San Diego Padres and Seattle Mariners. Supervising and supporting the staff, operations and projects includes oversight of the operating budget, maintenance schedules, equipment management, utility resources and best practices for all baseball field campus landscaping, field irrigation and mechanical systems for the Peoria Sports Complex campus and other facilities. |
Salary: | Salary Range: $65,769 – $97,170 Hiring Range: $65,769 – $81,470 |

Requirements: | Minimum Requirements: · Bachelor’s degree in any field or equivalent · Minimum of five years related experience · Requires a broad knowledge of complex systems, specialized practices, equipment and procedures · Valid AZ driver’s license Preferred/Desirable Qualifications: · Experience in a municipal or government setting · Five years previous supervisory experience is preferred · Preference to a degree in a related field Additionally, our ideal candidate will be a highly skilled, safety conscious, punctual team player with a high work ethic. Someone that understands that they will be hired to perform a full time job that is schedule and work order driven. You will need to be comfortable and able to execute your essential functions in high traffic public use areas. Candidate must be self-motivated and able to work both individually and with a team. |
