Duties: | · Assist Manager or Irrigation Technician II in maintaining and performing repairs on complex irrigation (automatic) systems. · Hand waters golf course as directed by supervisors. · Perform technical tasks and manual labor involved in maintaining and repairing golf course irrigation systems. · Operate and maintain pumping equipment. · Read water flow meters. · Repair broken pipe and swing joints. · Perform preventive maintenance on Cla-valves, PRV screens (including pressure settings). · Change head spacing for more effective water distribution. · Raise or lower irrigation heads as required. · Monitor and reset angle of spray on part-circle heads so that only turf is irrigated. · Maintain drainage systems and equipment. · Other duties as assigned by the supervisor. |
Salary: | Starts at $20.00 per hour |

Requirements: | The ideal candidate will be a team player with a great attitude and strong work ethic. At least two years’ experience in golf course maintenance and familiarity with basic irrigation practices preferred. High school diploma or equivalent also preferred. |
