Position: Golf Course Foreman/Spray Technician

 

Facility:   SaddleBrooke HOA2/Preserve Golf Club

 

Duties:

·       The Foreman/Spray Technician for Golf Course Maintenance provides direct field supervision to Golf Course Maintenance Techs, which includes assigning tasks and providing direction on how to perform specific tasks such as cutting cups, raking bunkers, and ensuring the proper use of equipment by personnel.

·       Spray Tech responsibilities include assessing and treating areas requiring chemical applications as directed by the Director of Golf Course Maintenance or by the Assistant Golf Course Superintendent and applying chemicals according to local and state regulations; and following label directions for the treatment of controlling weeds, insects, etc. as well as other duties as assigned.

 

Salary: $20.00 per hour ~ Depending On Experience

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of golf course maintenance experience.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Knowledge of irrigation and methods of chemical application.
  • Working knowledge of golf course maintenance equipment.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge.
  • Interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of safety policies and procedures. 
  • Must possess or obtain Arizona PUG License within 120 days of employment, the company will cover expenses needed for licensing.
  • Candidate must be organized, efficient, detail orientated, and can multi-task.
  • Candidate must be dependable and have a valid driver's license.
