·       Work directly with Owner and management team in developing short / long term goals

·       Manage maintenance crew

·       Communicate daily with other department heads

·       Manage irrigation

·       Increase playability and course conditions

 

Salary:

$55,000

Requirements:

·       Turf Degree preferred

·       1st Assistant or high level 2nd Assistant Experience

·       Department of Agriculture Applicator License within 90 days

·       Basic irrigation, mechanics, and golf operation knowledge

Payson Golf Club is in year two of a five-year master plan.  In 2021 over 100 additional memberships were sold.  PGC is semi-private and is planning an irrigation install in fall of 2022.  In the new design over 200 town homes will be constructed surrounding the golf course in the next 2-3 years.  PGC has a strong family environment with the employees and the local community.  The ideal candidate would treat others with respect and be able to get onboard with the long term vision.  There is extremely high potential for career growth and compensation for the right candidate that is willing to put in the work.  Candidate should enjoy the outdoors and be comfortable being 50 minutes from a Target store.
